Rosebery Steading

A quietly beautiful restored steading set in the Midlothian countryside, a short drive south of Edinburgh. Stone, light and open fields — the sort of place that feels like a long weekend with everyone we love.

Arrival

Please arrive between 12 noon and 1pm for a pre-ceremony drink in the courtyard. The ceremony begins at 1.30pm. Evening guests are asked to arrive from 7pm.

Parking

On-site parking is available at the steading. Cars may be left overnight and collected the following morning — please confirm arrangements with us closer to the date.

Accessibility

The main ceremony and reception spaces are on one level with step-free access from the courtyard. Some outdoor areas are gravel or grass. Tell us about any access needs in your RSVP.

Good to know

The steading has indoor and outdoor spaces, so bring a layer for the evening. Early April in Scotland can be bright and cold — see Dress Code & Weather for more.

Inside the steading

Ceremony, dinner and dancing all happen within the steading and its courtyard, so there's no travelling between venues during the day.
