Changeable weather
Early April in Scotland can be anything from bright and still to cold and wet — often in the same afternoon. Please check the forecast in the days before you travel.
Footwear
There are gravel and grass areas around the courtyard, so heels can be tricky outdoors. Many guests bring a second pair for the evening.
Bring a layer
Drinks and photographs may spill outdoors. A wrap, jacket or coat you're happy to be photographed in is a good idea.
